The G1 adapter bypasses your factory tuning, and lets you insert your own custom programmed chip without tearing up your stock memcal. Works with a wide range of GM chipped EFI applications, namely the 1986-1993 TPI & LT1 and the 94/95 TBI trucks.

I've purchased this adapter two separate times over a 5 year span. First for a 93 camaro Z28 with the 5.7 LT1 and 4l60, and most recently for a 93 trans am 5.7 LT1 with the T56 6spd. It's an absolute requirement in order to run a performance chip, whether you tune it yourself, or you purchase it elsewhere. Package comes secured VERY well, ships very quickly and it *just works*. Highly recommend if you want to tune your vehicle.

quality and easy to install. only regret is i didnt get the zif socket with it but outside of that im very pleased with it.
Awsome product, it allowed me to install the custom made ecm tune chip that i purchased from a chip maker. I have owned the product going on atleast one year to-date and has been flawless with atleast 30-40,000 miles on this device.
